These Photos Of Fast Food Joints In The 90s Will Trigger Serious Nostalgia

I don’t know about you guys, but I was a child of the 90’s and from want I remember, it was a pretty magical time and place. I was born in 1993, I experienced dial-up computers, the millennium countdown and the scandalous ‘Who Shot Phil?!’ storyline on EastEnders.

But there was one thing that I really remember about the 90’s that still warms my heart to this day. The magical, tacky, plastic-filled world that was fast-food restaurants. Yet, they do still exist, but there was something special about them at that time.

They were garish, bright, wonderful and bizarre. McDonald’s restaurants had play areas for kids, KFC had a human-sized sculpture of The Colonel on a bench that you could sit next to and Mr Wimpy was still in existence.

Finding out your mum was taking you to KFC was like finding out you were going to Disneyland. (The kid’s toys were much better back then as well).

We’ve unearthed some photographs of different fast food restaurants from the 90’s and I have to say, it’s like going through a time warp when you look through the images. Everything is so different but still vaguely familiar.

So have a gander through our list and see if any of them look reminiscent of your magical 90’s youth.
